Just a long trudge up a country road this time...W7R3 is a bit of a grunty week as you're just repeating W6R3, so there isn't the trepidation/triumph of the big run at the end of the week. I can't say it felt any easier than a week ago or that I had another three minutes in the tank but...trust the programme. W8 beckons.

Well done.The

last few weeks can be a bit of a trudge, but they are when you really become a runner, finding the determination required to get through.

Distraction is the best way, in my opinion. Head up, take in everything that is going on around you and the time passes so much quicker than if you are wrapped up inside yourself.

It does and it stings. I take a big hankie with me and I have a towelling wrist band for mopping purposes 😃👍

It might feel like a weary trudge today but keep plugging away, slow but sure, and one day soon it won’t 💪👍😃

Its a nice week isn't it? Just to get some consistency back after the different runs each time in weeks 5 & 6.

I love the long runs. Thats why we started this programme after all.
