Last post on my winter skin I promise... just to say a big thanks everyone who had a minute to reply and advise; the Nivea worked well!

No red sore patches after yesterday’s long run and enjoyable (mostly).....started off looking like I was covered in sun block - I over did the application (spared you a photo!) but it soon sunk in and provided a good barrier.
