Re-starting after chest infection.

Had to stop the plan for 2-3 weeks due to a chest infection that had me coughing and unable to breathe decently enough to run. Once I was well, I repeated the last four runs - Week 4, all 3 runs, and Week 5, the first run. Today was the first Week 5 run.

I run around fields (I live very rurally) with my dogs and as it had rained overnight, I was picking up tons of mud on my trainers, so I came home and finished on the treadmill. It meant that between the second and third 5 minute runs (which I did outside), I had a 6 minute walk to get home and get on the treadmill. I then did the 5 minute run and followed with the 5 minute walk.

Is that OK, I wonder?

I must admit, I really missed running and was glad to get back to it! I much prefer to run outside, but with the poor weather coming up, the treadmill will have to do!

Keep on running!
