Well, we do say slow and steady for a reason.

Thanks Sadie.

Thanks a lot for sharing, Sadie-runs! Very convincing even if I don't need to be convinced since I've adopted the snail runs ;-) and helpful to avoid injury. Let's keep on running slow!

Absolutely! My goal is to run injury free if I can. Besides, a slow and steady pace feels SO GOOD! 😘

So true -I felt so good tonight after my run I was worried about but I did it because I paced myself!!

Wish I'd read this when I started! Still, it will encourage me to keep slowing down :)

Absolutely- good to see all the principles that we already have discovered with C25K and this wonderful group of encouragers. It is too easy to slide into expecting yourself to go faster. 😁

I have to confess I haven't yet felt the need to run any faster than slow 😉

I can now happily claim I'm choosing to go slow deliberately! 😂

Great read. This is exactly what I did from day 1. And I can feel my leg muscles getting stronger. It’s also great for thinking time.
