Long story short, I have badly sprained/strained my medial cruicate ligament at the point where it joins my coronary ligament at the inside of my left knee. So I can do light exercise in the gym next week but NO RUNNING for two weeks and then I’ll have to go way back in the programme to build up - to say I’m gutted is an understatement. One run from graduation!!!! But at least my knee is not falling apart and with some further strengthening and rest it should be OK. And my Physio and I worked out exactly how it happened to so I can ensure when I start back I don’t do it again😕

You shouldn't have to go back too far. Bit your first run back again will tell you how your knee is holding out. Two weeks off isn't that long.
