W5 R2 I don’t know how I survived

Up until now the runs of every week are the same but I had a nasty shock when I was told I should run for 8 minutes. 8 MINUTES?!!! There’s got to be a mistake....thought I’d clicked on the wrong run button, but no, I was going to have to run for 8 minutes not once, but twice 😳 surprisingly the first 8 were ok, however, the second were far from that! Not massively enjoyable and a snail would’ve been far quicker, but I managed it. The sweat on me when I got back was unreal 😂 for the first time I can’t say I’m looking forward to the next run but hopefully it’ll be a little easier.

Well done. I’m planning to do that run tomorrow. Seems to be steep increases here on in.

Thank you Dave. I should’ve thought about that seeing as there’s only 4 weeks left and we have to get from 5 to 30 minutes. Good luck tomorrow 👍🏻

Well done. I just did week 5 r3. For me I just keep asking myself " Could I have done this a few weeks ago?" My answer is always no so I know I am improving.

Good Luck

Well done.

So you ran for sixteen minutes with five minutes of brisk walking......that is 21 minutes of moving, that you could not have done a few weeks ago.

Look forward and relish the challenge with a positive attitude.

you are doing great.

Well done you. Massive congratulations for completing both.

You survived because the program has until now been building you up to be able to cope with the longer runs you'll now move on to. Slow and steady is key and if you're sweaty that's good; shows you're working hard.

Good luck with the next run :0)
