Saved by the newt fence of all things πŸ˜‚

Almost faceplanted in the mud this morning ! Running in the field with the dog rather than usual pavements. Tripped over a stump. Instinctively put hand out to save myself and managed to grab the plastic newt fence to steady myself. Phew, that was close! Hot, wet and sweaty-faced is one thing but I don't fancy adding mud to the mix.

Sadly they're going to build a bypass through my ultra convenient dog walking field. I'm happy they're saving the newts, just wish they could save us some dog walking space too. Hey ho. Everything changes ... will make the most of it while we still can.

Oh flipping eck! I have lost my running sheep field to housing πŸ™„ Does your head in doesn't it.

Tumbles are par for the course but you're ok πŸ˜ƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘βœ”οΈ

I'm just fine and I'm pretty sure no newts were harmed in the process either! Once this road is built I'm sure the remaining area will be filled with housing too. Already talk of it. That it's green belt land doesn't seem to matter :(

Everything changes, but glad you are ok!
