Graduation and Parkrun number 2

So pleased to be able to say I've graduated (again!) from the C25K plan. This time last year I could hardly walk as suffering from terrible SPD during my pregnancy and today I did my second Parkrun.

I had a bit of a drama to start with, put Mr Smooth on and my music but then struggled to get my phone in the pocket of my leggings. I ended up having to hold my phone for the first k or so until hill number one which I had planned to walk as it's steep. Put phone in leggings and managed to knock off both Mr Smooth and my music.

Music was re-established but I lost Michael 😬 so it was my first ever run without him. I am surprised how well I did without him, I do like my five minute reminders.

My Parkrun has two steep hills and you repeat the loop so it's actually four hills. My plan was to walk up the hills quickly and I stuck to that plan and ran the rest. I had a tiny walk at 31 mins but I think that was a mental thing as I knew I could definitely run for 30 minutes but panicked when I had done a bit further.

I do love the volunteers at Parkrun, so enthusiastic and during that last tough k they are such a great help. I'm just waiting now to see if I the improve my time from last week (garmin says I did but we'll see).
