I slept badly, it was raining and windy. Just 2 mins into my run and there's a big dog heading straight for me. I tried to avoid him but the path is quite narrow with a deep pond on one side and steep bank on the other. The owner's were unable to control their dog and I made an undignified scramble on the wet grass. However, I continued my run to the end but my right ankle feels a bit sore now. I will try to find an alternative route for Monday's run.

Oh don't you just love dog owners who haven't got a clue - and generally they blame everyone else for the fact they can't control their dog (apparently I shouldn't be in the woods if I don't like a dog off a lead barking at me!!!).

Brave runner!!! Go you....make sure your ankle is really okay..maybe a bit of RICE and then another route
