FAIL W5R3

Feeling very disappointed in myself ☹. I stopped after 18 minutes, only 2 minutes left to go............ I could have kicked myself, but I just couldn't continue.

I think having the motivation to keep going is the hardest when all you want to do is give up. I'm determined to finish the process to the end though!

Next run is scheduled for tomorrow.

Wish me luck 🍀

You can do it!! That was a very good practice run... although you should take a rest day in between!!!

Well done for getting so close! What are you going to do? Repeat week 5 or go to week 6? Make sure you have a rest day in between too!

First Attempt In Learning - it was a good practice run, now make sure you get at least one days rest, then go out and show those gremlins who made you stop with two minutes to go that you can do this. We know you can..! 👍🏽

I thought about going back and repeating the week. Although I may try the this run 1 more time. I'm not sure yet.

Today is my rest day. Thankfully 😊

Have another go tomorrow...that's a great idea. I found that slowing down my usual pace and breaking the run into chunks really helped. As did counting back from 100 and focussing on my breathing. I was slower than normal but managed the full time. Maybe that'll work for you too? Good luck!

I struggled with motivation today on week 5 run1 as I know I have the big one soon. You gave it a go and achieved more than you have ever done. Be proud, as the others say - it was just a practise one

Ah that's a tricky one. I had to redo it as well. You'll get it next time

Sounds like a good practice run, take a day's rest then I bet you'll ace it. I couldn't manage this one the first time. My head didn't believe what my body could do. I turned off the app (so my head didn't know how long was left) and just set a timer then success!

We don't use the F word!

W5R3 is a game changer and I think is the biggest mental challenge in the whole 9 weeks (after W1R1). Best of luck 😊
