Starting week 6 and back pain problems

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with lower back pain . I haven't had any joint problems prior to staring this but now have a lot of lower back pain . Have rated for 4 days from running and just hope it gets better as. I'm desperate to start week 6

Hey mcm, sorry to hear you are suffering, I can sympathise, ruptured a disc in my back last year and back pain can be excruciatingly painful, if it doesn't go or ease after a few days you should seek advice from a doctor.

It could be a simple as having a weak core and your back muscles compensating when you run, trying to keep your trunk steady, Pilates helps me, don't think I could have even imagined starting this challenge without Pilates, it strengthens the core muscles and gives you lot of stretching exercises to help keep the muscles in you back and legs supple

I sincerely hope you manage to find some relief soon and you are able to get back pounding the streets 🙏🏻
