Week 5 Run 2 - The kindness of strangers

I completed Week 5 Run 2 last night and it was my favourite run yet! It felt amazing to be running for 8 minutes at a time and still have lungs and legs left at the end! What a feeling!

Two things really helped along the way. Firstly, just as I was starting off a man who was just finishing his run gave me a round of applause for running in the rain. It gave me a great boost and made me feel like an 'actual runner'! Secondly, and most importantly, all the amazing advice and pep talks on here have been invaluable in getting me this far. Thanks to all of you. :-)

They really are. :-)

As for the rain - I feel like it's a bit of an invisibility cloak for me as there are fewer people out to see me run!
