I did it! Week 3 run 1 that is :-)

Well, I never thought I'd manage 3 minutes of solid running without keeling over, but I did the whole thing today no problem. I was amazed!

Yes it probably helped that it was fine weather, and I was also enjoying my new headphones that go round your ears, you know, the ones made for runners. Am I a runner yet?

Oh and that's after a 3/4 mile walk this morning to the hairdressers and back.

I feel so good right now! So be encouraged, from what I've seen so far, the plan really works!

It DOES! Well done youx best thing EVER

So this was the run when I first felt I was running, because and I know it sounds daft if you could run for 3 minutes then you could run after a bus. Not that I had any need to, it was just one of those 'daft' milestones I had in my head, because 3 minutes isn't one minute it was 3 of those pesky little blighters on Run 1...

So you're definitely on the way to being a runner in my book....

Good work! You should be proud. Oh I need to get me some of those fancy headphones. I do yoga on my rest days, compliments running really well. And I also make sure I walk up stairs at work (8 flipping floors!). Keep up the good work. 😀

I really enjoy your posts. From start to date.

You're a couple of weeks ahead of me but I can see how positive you have become throughout the past 2 weeks.

Keep on doing this for you, making you feel better and I'm sure you're going to complete this programme with flying colours.

Thanks Donna, that's really nice of you.

My strategy is to be reasonably visible on here, because it kind-of gives some accountability, and makes me less likely to give up. Though, I have to say after about a minute of Week 1 Run 1 it was a close thing!

You're on week 1, right? I was actually quite glad to get past week 1 because doing the 8 separate runs was just annoying! Just keep us all up to date with your progress too. The fact that you've started it is amazing! Still can't believe I actually did... :)
