Despite having my Rock Running tracks on my phone this morning, I seemed to have the great Satchmo (Louis Armstrong) with me on my run as this was singing round my head to the tune of "Wonderful World".
Iโve seen trees of green,
And buddleia too.
The clouds they are grey,
The sunโs trying to shine through,
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful world.
๐ณ
The morningโs fine,
The air is quite chill.
But running along
Makes me a warm Gill.
And I think to myself,
What a wonderful run.
๐โโ๏ธ
I pass the bridge,
The sewage works too.
The countrysideโs great
But the air smells of poo.
But I think to myself,
What a wonderful world,
Yes I think to myself, what a wonderful run.
๐ค๏ธ
The sun is coming out now,
So pretty in the sky,
Itโs shining on the faces
Of other joggers passing by.
There are pairs running on
And solo runners too,
I manage to say, โGood morning to you.โ
โ๏ธ
I see clouds of white
And skies of blue
The sun is so bright
It sparkles on dew,
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world.
Yes I think to myself, what a wonderful run.
