Parkrun volunteering ... give it a go!

I volunteered at my local Parkrun for the first time this morning and would definitely recommend it. It was very interesting to see just how many runners are ahead of me when I run!

While I marshalled Mr Wizzie ran. He's now on W9 of C25k and blow me down if he didn't manage to do the 5k in 30.49! That means next week he'll have quite a wait for me to finish!

On a serious note, the Parkrun organisers do a brilliant job and every week need volunteers to make it a success so give it a go.

Well done. It's fun to run them, it's fun to volunteer. I'm partial to tailwalking and barcode scanning, but I should try the other roles.
