The horror, the horror!

Went for usual run at 0530 with the dogs, then to weights and did 3 sets of 10 and 1 set of 15 skwaats with my own bodyweight on my shoulders, followed by Bulgarian split squats with half my bodyweight, etc etc.

felt pretty solid.

Got to work. Discovered all of the properties I have to look at today are on the top floors of high rise blocks, with no lifts.

I am not sure if anyone has ever actually died of quad pain.

Your post reminded me of one of the things in the triathlon rules that I was reading at the weekend. It said it was ok to run or walk the run section but crawling was forbidden. I'm guessing crawling looks pretty appealing to you right now - unless you're navigating your way up the stairs of one of those dodgy high rises where there's a rather unpleasant odour in the stairwell!!!!

I know! I may just crawl when the marshals aren't looking!

Oh this made me laugh! I'm going to repeat what my mother (described as 'supportive' by my father but actually merely resigned) says "It's all very well keeping fit but fit for what?"

(Grocery delivery chap was struggling a bit this morning with my cat litter having played badminton until late and then up at 4.30am)

Gave me a chuckle and reminded me of the old days of the outlaw triathlon where the triathletes had to climb a flight of steps having just completed an iron distance triathlon! There is a ramp now - maybe you should suggest that for each set of flats (or get stannas put in)

This made me laugh so much, Rig. :D :D

Ooh quad pain, is that 4 times worse than normal? You could get some extra training in by trying the Tower 42 stairs challenge. Sounds horrendous to me, but I think you'd do it, carrying sacks of coal at the same time!

This made me smile, for you to be in pain, means I would be in A&E. oh man, exactly how tough are you?

But isn't it the day after the day after that the pain really sets in?? I think you'd best book a day or two off!!

Time to invest in a drone!

Was shoulders and triceps today. Arms too floppy to hold a drone remote.
