28 minutes and cow-nting

W8R1 and ran 28 minutes for the first time! Deliberately slowed down at several points (thanks all for the tips about this) so that I had enough energy to get to the end. Still can't really believe I am doing this, and neither can my family!

Anyway, just about halfway through the cool down walk I suddenly found myself face to face with four large cows who were blocking the exit to the field. Had to quickly back track, stagger up a hill to the top path, climb over a gate and take the long way home! Now giving myself a long rest...

Slow and steady is the way... well done... you are really moo-ving forward :)

I've got Mr Smooth as my running coach whereas you had Mrs moos.....

Well done on W8 slow and steady as Oldfloss says will win out, but if next time they chase you heaven alone knows what you should do

I have just my final run to do - holidays got in the way! Hoped to do tomorrow but now painting the kitchen so it might be Monday! Thanks for asking. You must be nearly finished too?
