You don't need luck you have your head and your legs. They seem to work in synch I find. Posting before your run is such a nice thing to do, it reminds me of that slight fluttery feeling I get when putting my kit on. So go for it and have fun

Thank you, I did it!! and I think I preferred not having so much stopping & starting, it felt like it went really quickly - I couldn't believe it when Sarah said it was already half way. Feeling very happy! I feel like shouting to the world 'I just ran for 3 minutes!' Lol 😀🎉😀

You did it fab, I felt 3 minutes was a mini graduation, cost if you did 3 minutes that meant you might be able to run after a bus. Bizarre thinking I know, but I felt like a proper runner then...;)

Thank you :) it was certainly slow, but I think I'm starting to just trust the programme & go with it each week. Roll on r2!

I just did the same! Was pretty sure I wouldn't make it, but only walked 9 seconds during the second 3 minutes. Pretty psyched

Whee! I'm quite addicted to checking this forum and especially loving seeing the posts from people around the same stage. Well done y'all!

I found my first 3-min run very hard (there was swearing) and was totally red - w3r2 was worse for me if anything, I started the 3-minuters too fast (didn't complete one either) and was a bit thrown by too much rain. However I was still proud of myself, got home and bragged to my cats (who have their own running wheel!). Bring on w3r3 tomorrow...

Take everyone's advice and keep it sloooooooow! Also going to start Strength and Flex on rest days. Hoping that helps too, my rest days might be a bit too restful at the moment.

It's addictive isn't it both the running and the forum. We like red on this forum, I sport either Monarch red or Salsa red from the Dulux colour chart, depending on the heat. Oldfloss is rather partial to strawberry bellinis but we don't know if that's the colour or the drink. I am guessing both and Runningraspberrydiva as you can see has chosen her own shade.... keep it nice and slow and you will be a fantastic healthy happy runner.
