Slower than a snail but still getting there :)

just completed W5 R1. I wasn't looking forward to it as was running on empty on my last run of week 4. I just told myself that I'd been running 2 x 5 minutes last week so I would therefore be able to do 3 x 5 minutes - and I did! It was far from easy but better than W4 R3 as I have now gone back to running slower than a snail :). Also I ran further but my phone app said no :(. Maybe it loses GPS signal sometimes in countryside, wooded areas?

Well done - keeping it steady will help you progress. Your pace will increase naturally as you get stronger.🙂

I did this this morning too. Not at all bad. The 3 minute walks in between helped a lot. I'm looking forward to R2

Ha, I wish I was. I can say that I'm now not dreading it as much as I did before this run - so progress :)

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Ignore the phone, you know where you went and if it was furtherthan previously , then that's brilliant too. We got Run 2 coming up soon - we can and will get it done. Girl Power she says being somewhat older than a girl!

If only I could remember what being a girl was like but yes we will get it done :)
