WOW!!! I aimed for completing my local parkrun from the start of my c25k journey and I've done it. Husband and 10 year old along side(okay, in front) we turned up to be met by 150plus runners and walkers of all ages who were massively welcoming and friendly. They ones who lapped us even shouted encouragement as they did so! What a great experience. Can't wait to do it again.

Great that you enjoyed Parkrun, and with the family too. I find Parkrun is wonderful, so friendly and non-judgemental. I get the fast runners cheering me on as they go past as well, and there are always loads of people cheering in every single runner at the end. For me it's now become my favourite start to a weekend.
