Ive just finished week 6 run 1 and I actually found it harder than the 20 minute run in week 5!
Maybe it was because there was more runners in the park today and I think I was almost trying to keep up with the pace they were running. My run tracker did show I went faster on this run than my last.
Any pacing tips you guys could give me would be great!

I thought WK6R1 would be simpler than the 20 mins run too but it seemed so difficult. I put it down to the humidity on Sunday morning. Well done for finishing it 👍🏼🏃🏼♀️
W6 r1 does come as a shock to many, so you are not alone 😀. It maybe that the high of doing w5 r3 leaves us a bit vulnerable/cocky, it maybe going back to the segments, it maybe going too fast as this running lark is easy now. Whatever it is we get past it and just get on with it and are left wondering "what just happened". Check out the week 6 posts in Topics.
Well done on getting through it - here's to the next run 😀
W6 is a tough one. Most people look at the runs individually and don't realise how much overall distance is covered in the whole walk/ runs. So because it has shorter length runs, it looks easier. As you found out - it isn't. The programme doesn't give you an easy week. But by the time W6 is done you are on the home straight and well on your way to being a 5k runner. Dig deep this week - you've got this!!
