Knee is hurting. Week 1 Run 2 πŸƒ

Ok so after 5 sessions today was the worst. Cardio wise it was great and I felt comfortable. But, my knee was far from comfortable. It started hurting after run 1 last week but I put it down to me being over weight and the route having inclines. I've tried starting from my parents house which is flatter. It feels like it needs to crack. Hard to describe. I've booked to have an assessment done with a physio at work but I have run 3 planned for Friday and don't know what to do. I don't want to undo all the hard work so soon in the plan. I'm devastated. πŸ™

Don't run on it if it hurts and you have an assessment about to be done on it. I would work on walking fast for a time, rather than continuing with the plan before you start putting weight on it by running. As it is week one I would say you are not used to running much. Better to build up a few miles by brisk walking first.
