Went off to gym lovely aircon, and tv to watch tennis whilst eating up the 30mins. Was a bit apprehensive about increase in running time but apart from going a beautiful shade of tomato red managed it better than I thought. Knee is a bit swollen but not as painful as after the last run. Despite myself quite looking forward to Saturday run. I am wondering if I should give my knee two days between runs so it has more chance to recover any thoughts?

Ice, elevate, anti-inflamatories, gentle movements. Then ask you knee if it feels better. Seriously, listen to what your body is telling you. If you feel your knee needs another day's rest, take one.
Jealous of the aircon.
