Cut the running! 26degc🌞

Trust me to go out at midday! Was so hot! 😁 So I just jogged for 35 mins, my route was sometimes in some shade under the trees down the lane and through the common so had a little respite from the unrelenting sun, then I carried on fast walking to home and total 7k done, got a good sweat on though! Now spending the afternoon with ice lolly & drinks watching the amazing Wimbledon tennis, the court lawns will need a good watering tonight after the scorching from today's sun!😊

I know Floss, I was thinking of you as I went out at 7.30, although I know that would be late for you to be out! πŸ˜„

Thankyou floss! Yes, mad dogs and English men and all that!😁 I always take care in the currant bun!😎

It would be good if I ran early, I'm awake early but can't get things together in the mind for running, getting to do a Parkrun at 9am can be a struggle..

I'm considering a holiday away in September/October, may visit up your way in North Wales possibly hire a nice caravan for a week in one of the Haven or Parkdene sites..😊

Agree about the struggle to get out early. Well done on the 35 mins later on. Did Speed at 9am but had to walk the inbetween bits.

I find I don't mind the heat so much as the glare of the full sun. If I forget my sunglasses I'm stuffed....
