Completed week5 run 3 today and like a lot of people on here was quite worried about the jump up to 20 mins. So delighted I did it...... the first 3 mins were the worst, once I did 5 mins focused on half way and then it was count down. Can't say I loved it - lungs were fine, legs were tired. Anyway delighted. Thanks to all those people who did this 20 min run at the weekend- you inspired me to keep going today. Looking forward to week 6 π
W5R3 yippee and thank you!!: Completed week5 run... - Couch to 5K
W5R3 yippee and thank you!!
Well done you! π It's a special run in the programme this one. Watch for the week 6 gremlins though. Usually they attack on the return to intervals and sow seeds of doubt. There is a useful road map to avoid snarls and gremlins through weeks 6 and 7. Just read the old posts (look in the search section for week 6 etc). Every doubt invented will have been logged and answered. Keep posting. Keep running. You'll soon be a graduate. Not long now π
I joined the forum after this run (well I had been lurking ...) it feels amazing doesn't it? And yes, watch out for 6 but know that the programme so far has prepared you for it.
Well done- it's quite a milestone! ππ I'm only just ahead of you - we can do this. Enjoy week 6 π
Wahay! Well done you! Its good int it!
