Week 1 Run 3, for the third time. Only faster. :)

I'm working my way through Couch to 5k for the second time, having lost fitness a few months back, probably due to a virus. Tomorrow I start Week 5.

Anyway, my 17 year old daughter announced recently that she would like to do C25k as well. On Friday I went with her on her third run of Week 1 just to keep her company. So, that's the third time I've done Week 1 Run 3... you with me so far?

We had the dog with us as well. Martha is quite nervous for a labrador and one of her wee neuroses is that she doesn't cope with her family separating on an outing. We always have to stick together when we're walking, or, as in this case, running.

Now, Ruth is 17. I'm 117 (or it feels that way). So although she's only running for a minute at a time, when she runs she runs fast! So, this was me on the running sections of the session...

Well, okay, it's some fit person from t'interweb. But it's what I felt like!

It was SO. MUCH. FUN.! Honestly, I loved it.

I think I'm going to abandon 5k runs and go for eight one-minute sprints each time instead. :) :)
