... and hubby ran too!

2nd Parkrun yesterday, generally went well, new PB of 34.39 so finished feeling rather pleased with myself.

So, you wonder, what's this all about. Well, Mr Wizzie (who is currently only on W2 r2 of C25k) joined in and carried on with walking/running intervals to the end of the 5k.

Not only did he catch me up in the last 100m but he slowed down so that I could go over the finish line first! I know I should be pleased that he was the perfect gentleman but I now realise how much faster than me he's going to be by the time he finishes the programme.

Oh dear, can't help thinking we'll never be running together!

Well done and that's a good time. I'm sure you will run together sometimes and I am sure sometimes you will be happy to run it separately to try and chase a PB. Even if you don't run it together all the time it will be nice to have it in common.

Thanks, you're right, it gives us something to talk about. I'm pleased to say that Mr W has been well and truly converted to C25k having seen how it's got me from being a non runner to doing Parkruns.
