Did my first 20 minute run last week haven't been able to do it since. Has anyone else felt dehydrated in this weather? I could only manage 14 mins this mornin 😩

I'm the same I started week 9 on Monday and haven't been able to complete a run feeling down about it. Put my back out on Tuesday so not chancing a run until Saturday but I'm only getting half way and have to walk a bit then run then maybe have to walk a bit 😡

Frustrating isn't it. I have sort of stopped at week 6, can't see the point unless I complete the 20. 20 is my focus at the moment. The rest of the weeks is like 25, 28 then 30 so I guess it will take me however long it takes

Yep I'm the same just got in from w6r2 and it was tough. stopped the last minute for a few seconds then continued. Gonna strike it off though. Had to repeat r1w6 twice this week. Just couldn't do it. Don't know how I ran 20mins last week but this week is definitely tougher. I suppose we just keep chipping away at it. We've all done so well getting this far...good luck

If you feel dehydrated, chances are its because you are dehydrated.

Are you drinking your 3 litres a day?

Drank loads yesterday, it's the heat though, sweating it out quicker than you take it in

It has been very hot, which does make things hard. Make sure you have a glass of water before you go out, and take things slowly. You'll get there in the end.

Its not just the heat, its the humidity or relative humidity. When that is high it affects your body's ability to lose heat through sweat... apologies, perspiration. Which means you will be overheating.

Hydration is obviously very important, but it is also likely you are just wilting in the weather. Give it a go in cooler conditions, I'm sure you'll smash it!!

i did park run saturday and usually (its quite a flat run) I find it ok.

Saturday it was horrible, really hard work, out of breath and it dragged

Yesterday I went to running club and experienced same thing, I feel really heavy when I run in the heat! Its rubbish :(

Glad it's not just me. Struggled w 25 mins at 8am today though wind was mostly against me. One good thing about running at rush hour - I just about went faster than the traffic! Plus drivers slow even more to let me cross. Mad world.
