I made a decision this morning. Unless I am so ill I can't contemplate running, I am going to make the effort. Unusually I felt really tired and wasn't sure if I felt like getting up to run. Normally on a Saturday morning I'm wide awake anyway, and I just think it's better to run for half an hour than to fiddle about on Facebook. So even though I could have very easily just rolled over and gone back to sleep, I pulled on my trainers and went. It was so worth it. Week 4 in the bag, and week 5 starts on Monday!

Making the effort
Brilliant post! That discipline is so important! I ran after work yesterday after a busy day at work and a night of watching too much election coverage! It would have been so much easier to put my feet up, but I laced up and went for a run as planned. So glad I did!🙂
Good for you! That is where a lot of people seem to struggle. Discipline was the thing that worried me about this when I started. All attempts I have made in the past to get fitter have lasted a couple of weeks at the most. But even after the first run I had an inkling that I would be able to do it. If the alternative is sitting watching TV or messing about with my phone, now I would swap that anyday. My energy levels are generally better than they were a month ago, and that can only be a good thing!
Great attitude (one I still need to commit to!), well done for getting out there.
