I seem to be settling at two runs a week rather than three, just because of life being busy and me wanting to run at the crack of dawn, but I don't mind taking longer and it seems to be working for me. Anyhoo, because of only managing two a week as it is there was no way I was missing today so off I went in the rain - it was actually really enjoyable, in a weird and unexpected way! I recovered much more quickly from the 5 min runs than I did in week 4, and am looking forward to trying 8 mins!!
20 mins is another matter altogether, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it!

It's strange as my last run was in the rain - I borrowed my husbands running jacket and got out there on Tuesday and it was soooo good. I was just in my own little world making up a route as I went as my usual bridlepath now has nettles and brambles meeting in the middle.
It doesn't matter how long it takes, you need to fit the runs into your routine so it doesn't become a chore fitting it in to a busy life (and 20 minutes is achievable so don't worry about it).
