Finished week 8 yesterday but had a painful run thanks to shins, think I overdid it last weekend 5 a side Sunday night then W8 R2 Monday morning which was a PB.
I'm now paying the price, desperate to carry on had first parkrun planned for sat as W9 R1 should I carry on or rest?

Saturday is 2 days away so just take it easy until then and you should be OK to go, just take it steady and don't get too competitive! Most of all enjoy it.
If they hurt walking, then don't do it. If they feel OK then slow and steady but be prepared to stop if are very painful. You don't want to overdo it and be out of action longer.
