Ideas for where to put my phone when I'm running anyone? (polite replies only please πŸ˜€)

Just finished W1R2 very red in the face partly because I had to wrap a jacket round my waist to put my phone in. Very pleased to get the second run over, was thinking the first one might have been a fluke and feeling more positive now.

I have a flipbelt! They're amazing. You can get cheaper ones on amazon/eBay that are basically the same though 😊

Thank you, is flipbelt a brand name?

Yes, its the brand name. If you go to flipbelt.co.uk you can see what they are. Im sure if you type running belt or something like that into amazon, it will come up with similar things. I love my flipbelt though. Use it for loads of things, not just running!

I have one of the armband phone holders. It's good and doesn't interfere with my running but there are two big downsides for me. Firstly, it's not easy to use the phone once it's in the holder. This means you either need to start your music and the app and then get the phone in the holder quickly, or you have to get someone else to do it - because it's really hard to twist to see the screen. A couple of times I've also had it rub the really soft skin under my arm which is pretty painful. I'm thinking of trying a flipbelt too.

I got one an EOTW running belt from amazon as it has a clear touch screen so I can see and adjust my phone as needed, and a sensible price. Works for me

I got an inexpensive Karrimor armband phone holder. Previously I had thought they were a bit poseur-y but now that it's too warm to run with a jacket, it's indispensable! I agree with Rebecca that it's a bit fiddly to use and start my music going, but once I'm off, it's great!

I use an across the body bag these days - the one that has all the dog clobber in. I used to have it in a neck pouch. I have to restrain myself from taking the kitchen sink out with me.

I put mine between my sports bra and the swimsuit I wear on top of it - perhaps not for everyone!

I was the same, refusing to loose the jacket but melting inside. Then my Mum was in a garden centre and spotted a belt that has 2 super stretchy pockets. It is great, the belt is elastic too so it fits round my non racing snake middle. Room for phone, house key & iPod shuffle. Could fit kitchen sink in but am resisting it. Thanks Mum (from your 43 year old baby) 🀣
