That was a great run, loved every minute of it!

My 15 year old son came along, he said he could do it easily and to be fair to him, he completed it, I had to slow my pace down a little to accommodate him but it was good having him come along and he says he might come out on Friday for the 25 minutes with me.

Here's hoping he does as the company made it more enjoyable.

That sounds wonderful. I am running alone at the moment, my family are way too fit. I'm doing week 6 and only admitted to hubby and kids last week what I was doing. Son (18) and hubby (50+) think nothing of popping out for a quick 10k which they complete in about 58 minutes, unless it's a race when it's faster!! Would love to have someone more my level😀😀😀

Enjoy every minute of it, he's precious🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻😀👍🏼

I just need to tempt my other son now, but runnings not done with electronics so he's not interested at all.

I know what you mean about having someone at your level, my brother keeps trying to get me to go out for a run with him, but he's far too fit. He ran the Nottingham 10k in 48 minutes on Sunday and he's doing the derby marathon this coming Sunday, I hope to be able to keep up with him someday, but that day is definitely not here yet.

He wanted to sprint off at the start so I had to talk him out of if, he admitted at the end that he would of had to sit down and watch me pass him if he had.

His "conversational" pace was only a little slower than mine but by the end the conversation had been run out of him.

I hope he keeps it up as it was great to have him running with me, and meant we got a little bit of father/son time
