Whoa! The w5r3 Twenty-Minuter done!

Wow, I really wasn't sure I was going to make this one but have learned to trust in the app & after a bit of creeping anxiety yesterday, just went for it & did my 20 minute run today! I don't think I've ever run for 20 consecutive minutes! Ok admittedly I kept to my now-standard very slow-&-steady pace & inwardly chanted 'glide not bounce' as I went along, but I did it! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Ha! I did it! I was as red as a strawberry and am convinced I was overtaken by a couple of snails but I did it!!! Feel so pleased!! The rest now feels achievable! My back and knees are really starting to get sore now so my warm up (& down) routine are getting longer and longer!!! πŸ˜‚X

Yay! Awesome job. I too have to go slowly - this has been a great lesson in pacing myself - but it's all good. I really think that run is a turning point for all of us. I did week 6 run 1 yesterday & felt it was weird running in chunks again but as my 'coach' said, it's about consolidating what we've done. That made me even more convinced that the majorly hard work is behind us & now it's a case of building on it. Go us! ☺

Yeah!l Go us indeed! Think it definitely helped me reading on here that everyone else had felt as anxious as me beforehand and yet had still conquered it, I did struggle yesterday on run 1 of week 6 but was pouring with rain and had been dir five mile walk on my rest day so just going to see how I feel tomorrow and hopefully will feel better as rested properly today! Fingers crossed! We can do this!!!! X

Well done! It's not easy to overcome the anxious thoughts. I know I feel much better when I'm thinking about something else, and yet it's not easy to avoid thinking about it!

Well done πŸ‘ What a great feeling? I remember it well. It's like a "I can't believe I've just done that" moment!

That's when the programme really makes sense in my opinion.

Fabulous! πŸ‘πŸ‘
