Hi everyone, well I know you'll all be wondering how my parkrun with pt went, well it was very helpful. My man was very supportive and informative he gave me some useful tips on my running style and for tackling hills both up and down.
He was firm but caring in his approach and I felt better able to pace with him alongside. Ok yes it helped he was fit and handsome which did everything for my ego but on a serious note my personal best improved to 31.23 so with a big kick next week I think the sub 30 beckons.
I'm continuing with my half marathon training running an extra half km or 1km to my weekly 10k which seems to be working for me so I'm feeling positive. I still can't believe I was unable to run round the block without breathing like an old horse less than a year ago and here I am contemplating running a half marathon and that's all thanks to the C25k programme and the help and support from my forum mates, so a big, big thank you to you all xx
