W4R1 Feeling really good!

Wow! DidW4R1 this morning and I was expecting it to be difficult, especially as I'd had a 4 day gap between run 2 and 3, due to a minor niggle in my knee, but it was great! I ran for 16 minutes! I felt like I could have kept going after the last run! What a buzz! Is this what they call an adrenalin rush? I could get used to the good feeling. I'm actually looking forward to doing it again on Sunday and wish it was sooner! I'm swimming on Friday, as usual, with my daughter and we will probably be out on a family walk or bike ride on Saturday too.

My Samsung S Health app said I did 4.58km for the entire podcast including warm up and cooldown. Is that normal? The timing is spot on at 33.35 mins, so it could be right. Does anyone recommend a better (but free!) app for recording my distance?

I really feel inspired but all the positive comments everyone makes on here and think you are all great!

I'm going to stop gushing now... and no, I haven't been drinking!

Well done on the run, I too did w4r1 today and felt great, with regards to your app question, I use strava which I find easy to use.

Just checked my run and strava said my distance travelled was 3.7k so you did very well (or I didn't) lol!

Thanks for the tip for strava, I will check it out. Was your distance from door to door? It's good to know someone else is at the same place in the programme as me. We can compare notes!

Yep, door to door (inc warm up/down),don't know about your app but I like strava's ease of use and the fact that you can review all your previous runs on your pic at any time!

Okay thanks. I'll give mine a go for a few more runs as it seems to be easy and then maybe compare it to another later on.

Aww really glad for you 😺 I use strava. I'm no expert but it seems to do the job. Happy running! X
