Hi starting my 5-2 diet and need to lose weight with this 5k! not sure how to get this started but I'm sure I will muddle my way through it!

Follow the C25K programme.. take your rest days, link in a healthy eating regime and you may see results.

You may not lose weight, as this is not a weight loss programme...but you will feel leaner and keener
Keep posting your runs and take other exercise on your rest days too... it all helps..the main thing is.. slow and steady to get you to the 30 minute runs
So, no need to muddle on ... just load the programme and start running... we are right here with you...so keep posting
