Finally made it (after 14 weeks)

I finally made it to running 30 minutes. I've done three parkruns (5k), but I've "Jeffed" them each time (run:walk). I had got up to 27 minutes of solid running and today was going to try for 28 minutes. But everything was feeling right today and I pushed on for the 30. It was all going so well in fact that I ended up doing 40 minutes!!

The very first week, I could only run the first and the last two one-minute runs. Would never have believed this could work - what a great programme.

I love Jeffing. Couldn't get round a parkrun without it. And looking at how far I got in 40 minutes today, I can Jeff a 5k quicker than I can run it.

Just seen this, excuse my ignorance but what is jeffing? Are you referring to Mr Galloway?😁

Yes, davelinks, I am referring to the Jeff Galloway method of running. Jeffing seems to have become a verb! (Certainly in a couple of the Facebook running groups that I belong to, one of which is called "Girls That Jeff"!) :)
