There's a fable... the hare and the tortoise and we all know that the slow old guy wins in the end. My journey has been horrendous but the hard outer protective shell that I'm armed with has given me the strength I need to keep going. Two weeks since run 1 of week 7, my furthest yet since I took those steps nearly 4 years ago (told you I was a tortoise... is there a record for longest time taken to complete the programme I wonder 😜) but I went out and smashed it. Managed 20 minutes at my usual speed of 7kph but cranked it up to 8 for the last 5 minutes then did an extra minute for fun! Two weeks easter holidays are nearly here. Could I crawl across the line and complete the programme at last? I really believe so. Thanks to you all for your support and advice. 😘
