Bloddy Broadband

The broadband connection in my house has been shocking recently, and I don't have the sort of data package that lets me use the web without worrying about going over my limit.

So quick, while I have the interwebz:

Currently, I've either got a cold or Spring hayfever. Either way it made running this morning a very thirsty affair, but the weather was good and I had a 20 minute run scheduled, so I just jogged it very gently.

Shoe round-up:

The Saucony trail runners that I couldn't get on with went back to the shop for a credit note.

The Salomon's that the sole was coming loose on went back to the online store they came from and I'm still waiting for them to acknowledge that they are indeed faulty.

Yesterday I spent my credit note on a pair of Brooks Launch 4s that feel like my old Brooks Ghosts did way back when... Local running shop had to order them in for me because I needed the half size and he only had whole sized pink ones in stock. They arrived today. Quick huh? They are SO comfy. And shiny! And mostly not!pink ☺ Also, they are road shoes... I own road shoes 😮

Love your shoes - I got some very pink Ghost 9's because pink wax all the had in the store and I live them. Brooks are definitely a great choice of shoe 😀

I used to wear Ghosts when I was walking a lot of miles 😊 even though these aren't Ghosts they feel like *my* version of the Ghosts. It was SO lovely when I put my feet in them.

I had a moment of revelation and decided to treat my cold as if it was Spring hayfever, which seems to have worked.
