W9R2 "Penultimate run!"

I somehow think roads here are exclusively designed for vehicle traffic. Huh.

.

50% of my running was uphill. Sweating, it might as well have been a free flowing water facility. I discovered my body is surprisingly slippery and shiny once wet.

.

It was cold, windy and at 4°C, I made it look like I was running in the middle of a summer marathon.

.

4K again and it was definitely tough after some fried chicken and chips junk food earlier in the day.

.

Final day of the programme W9R3 tomorrow.

✅Health in good condition

✅Weather is going to be alright

✅Shoes, clothing and accessories ready

✅Planning to leave work early

✅Almost level (< 20% gain) route planned (MapMyRun website)

✅Sainsbury's at the end of the route for their water bottle (25p :P) if necessary

✅And their washroom facilities if just in case

✅Return journey planned to be on the bus

✅Bananas in stock (before and after run)

✅Not to eat much junk food for two days

Planning for 5K for the Graduation run.

I am hoping to be able to run for the extra 7 minutes or so required to add the additional 1K.

You have this organised to the tiniest detail! I'm sure you will smash it! We've been sorting through the party stuff in preparation and in addition to the usual fayre, we'll have some special banana smoothies on the graduation table in you honour!

Was only a bit windy on my run - I went this morning as weather forecast was for rain++ from mid-day. Of course, none has materialised yet, probably waiting for me to go out of the house to class this evening.

My legs were ridiculously tired today - I guess I was due after a good run on Monday.

Friday will be an evening run in the park again with daughter for company. Afterwards we have Friday wine-tasting at the local wine shop, so I shall be raising my glass to toast everyone's graduation success!
