Music...it does make all the difference!!

Ok so today I dumped Laura ☹️. I felt really bad as I would NEVER have done the programme without her but I took some of the amazing advice you guys gave - it has made a difference. I walked with her and then put a YouTube dance mix on. What a difference...it also took me back to being 18! I managed the 22 mins and I reckon I had another one in the tank. I know what is coming next week so mentally used the next track on my warm down walk to visualise! Have a good weekend everyone and thanks for making me feel welcome and giving me support when I needed it the most😊

Well done. Laura doesn't mind, she will always be there for you when you need her. You can always put the podcast on to mix it up a bit (I suggest putting Laura on for your warm down walk on W6R3 and also once during Week 8 or 9 to meet Julie :) ).

Thanks Melly.i had for warm up and warm down still. Julie..gosh another. Once I found out I worked well with the C25K podcast I incorporated the strength and flexibility one on the alternate days so I'm getting there..I'm snowboarding in early April and hoping after 2 years of no slipes I hope my new found fitness will come through!

It's definitely worth it to hear what Laura says to you at the end of W6R3. :) Snowboarding sounds fantastic, lucky you! I'm sure the running will have set you up nicely for it!

I also abandoned Laura this evening and listened to radio

Worried about cheating a bit but ran for 1.5 miles which is quite amazing

Think it will be back to Laura for next run although have to admit music is an acquired taste

1.5 miles...good work! It is acquired but there is something about it that got us through those first and difficult weeks 😊
