REEBOCK TREADMILL - Poor aftersales service

Be careful buying Reebock products when it comes to their aftersales service. I have a treadmill that broke just before the 12 months warranty ran out. What a nightmare getting an engineer to call out when I contacted Reebock! I finally had an engineer call out when the part that they supplied (the main control board) was faulty too. When I contacted Reebock, they told me another part is not in stock and will be several weeks before they can get one.

What surprised me is that the engineer had said that this is a very common fault with this treadmill (Z9) yet the product had not been recalled and neither do they have a lot of stock in for the part that is normally at fault. I wonder how many other people have been fobbed off like I seem to have been? Maybe some of you have had quick and efficient service and I am just unlucky.

I also wonder if I was opening a series of gyms up and down the country and wanted to buy their products, I would be treated the same?

One thing is for sure, despite the treadmill being excellent when it worked, I will NOT buy another Reebock product based on the after sales service that I have received.
