Week 2, Run 3 - feeling fairly positive

Well I haven't felt the nerves that I've had before some of the other runs. Not nervous, but, the unknown. I'm still aching a bit but not enough to put me off. Thanks to everyone who commented on my other post, much appreciated.

We're lost 1 member, well 2 now, of the running club. This is due to injuries and health which is a right shame.

A few of us left though so we'll keep going. We're off to get changed now (we go as a running team on lunch times Mon/Wed/Fri at work :) )

As always, I'll report back on how it went!

We're back. Week 2 finished! I am really pleased that we're still doing this. Running partners are great for motivation.

Today was hard, but doable. My calves are not hurting as much and my breathing wasn't too bad. One thing I did notice is my recovery time has reduced a lot. I feel back to normal a lot quicker.

Well done! You really will notice the difference week by week and it's so good to notice your own progress this way. Week three next!

you can do this, after week 2, week 3 and all the rest will be...not a breeze but they won't seem as nerve-wracking as the first two.

I'd love to have running buddies, but sadly neither of my girls are up for it, Mr Rainbow can't due to painful arthritis, and none of my local friends are keen :(

It's great that you're already noticing your fitness improve - I find it astonishing how quickly we can make a difference :) Well done for the first two weeks. A week from now you'll be a third of the way through! :D

It's great you are part of a team doing c25k, well done starting! You will get some aches as you are new and bodies adjusting, as long as there's no pain just go through it, keep pace slow & steady and don't try and keep up with others, keep posting..😊

Steady and slow.. and hot showers and massage after work :) Well done you. I am full of admiration for the workers who do it in the lunchtimes.. mine were spent, usually chasing small ones around the school yard! :)
