Started couch to 5k today. Not expecting to complete it 9 weeks as I feel the MS will have different ideas. Am going to give it a good go though.
Today I found easier than I expected, but I did run many years ago. Fingers crossed for future runs.

Well done jazznblues the first step is the hardest.
Well done on starting the plan. It is really life changing so I do hope you keep up with it health permitting. If you feel it is too much or too tiring, perhaps you could leave 2 days in between runs just to allow for a greater recovery time.
Good luck and keep us posted x
Welcome and well done for starting. That's the hardest bit IMO. Post here for encouragement and support. It's a blast 🤗
Well done for making a start. You're absolutely right not to worry about the 9-week thing; I've just completed it, having started last April! Hope it helps with keeping the MS at bay slightly too...
You won't regret it! I'm a fellow MSer. I find the running only helps. If I'm having a bad day/time I don't run - you know the drill - listen to your body. But if your body says yes, just do it! It's done marvels for my mental state as well, which has been a bigger problem for me in the past than the MS. Good luck, and keep posting - check in every day for a daily dose of positivity the like of which you'll never find anywhere else.
Yep, always am listening to my body. It's the reason I am taking 2-3 day breaks each run. Like I said I don't expect to do it in the 9 weeks, but it's far better than doing nothing 8)
