I joined you all on here 3months ago and thanks to Bazza1234 and nhs2015 who pointed me in the direction of Parkrun . I was over the moon to run a full 5k at the weekend in 45.30. Today I ran 5k on the track at the gym at 36.30. Woopie . Too think I struggled with running for 1minute when I started C25K. Give yourselves a pat on the back from me for your help.

Well done!! Parkrun is such fun isn't it. I have been tail runner a few times and loved it there. Volunteering was as much fun as running!

Sorry to say that the time I put in my post was not acurate. I had reset my garmin and not used it outside for a walk and run for it to set my pace correctly.

However I had run all the way ,just not as fast as I thought. I have been back twice since running all the 5k with a modest time of 45.03 and 46.26 .

I counted 25 laps of 200m just to make sure the garmin was correct in at least the 5k measurement.

Still proud with my progress, and more pleased with the running all the 5k than the time. Just did not want to post false information .
