Finished! Woop woop!

If you'd have told me when I started this in October that by mid January I'd have completed the programme I really would've thought you were mad! Week 9 run 3 was a funny one. The first 10 minutes was quite tough but then I seemed to settle down into a steady beat with the music and hey ho... 30 minutes!

Thank you for your advice, wisdom and support on here. Every message, like or comment makes you realise you're not on your own with this.... and it can be done!

Slow and steady is definately the way to go. If you've just started this plan then stick with it and don't be afraid to ask questions on here... even if you think they're silly, I can guarantee others have asked themselves the same ones!

Here's to a steady build to an hours run!

Thanks again!

Russ

Big congratulations on your graduation and lots of luck with the next stage of your running journey! And btw, I think the first 10 mins are always the hardest! I am now running some pretty long distances and I still take a good few minutes to 'hit my stride'!

Yeay!!! Well done.

Incidentally many people continue to find the first ten minutes hard. There is science behind why but basically it's because your body needs a little time to get adjusted to the news from your brain that you've decided to go for a run. But anyway, congratulations!

Brilliant well done you. Just like you I thought it would be madness to complete the program 10 weeks ago. I have two more runs left to do before I can say I have done it. Somehow this program actually works miracle's.
