I haven't run since December 4th due to various coughs, colds and Christmas, so the gremlins were having a huge New Year party! I had started to think I wouldn't be able to run, so what's the point of trying. But yesterday my husband convinced me to get out there and try. I decided I would just run for 15 minutes, then walk. But having got out and taken Laura with me I found I didn't want to stop and walk and managed to run for 30 minutes. I'm pretty much the slowest runner ever and this run was one of my slowest yet, but I am so delighted that I did it! Hoping to get back to running at least twice a week now!

Well done! It's amazing that you don't actually lose that much fitness after a few weeks off, isn't it?! Hopefully that's got your appetite back for running again.
