what I did on my 'rest day'

As it is my rest day from week 2 (my third run is tomorrow - Friday) I left my sports bra in the drawer and, at his request went to town with Hubby-To-Be where we had a wonderful breakfast out, sharing a pot of tea, him thoughtfully eating the fried bread that came with my breakfast because I've never liked fried bread, followed by a nice walk through town before we came home.

However, whilst Hubby-To-Be indulged in one of his hobbies, (painting small figurines of futuristic spaceships), I, with nothing else to do, took myself to the park to use the outdoor equipment - those pieces of machinery that will make my arms work. I enjoy these because the outdoor machinery uses your own weight as a, well, weight, though I should probably, for now, stick to doing 10 reps on these machines rather than, as I tried before my arms got tired, do as many reps as possible to LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know it'. Definitely a bit overambitious right now.

When I got back home, Hubby-To-Be and both of our Small Feline Overlords decided that they couldn't possibly snuggle with me until I had a hot bath (I couldn't feel it, but according to HTB, the cold was radiating off my skin) So, now I sit, in my PJs, thoroughly warmed up and looking forward to my run tomorrow

  • And they're free:)

What a good way to spend a rest day! I do hope we get to see the wedding photos, when the time comes!

  • I can almost see you exercising to exhaustion with that song, whilst your partner works with the figurines, you've painted the picture so well in my head.

  • Have a wonderful run today, sounds like it's going well! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
