There are music downloads for c25k and running music apps.

But at 64 and new too running I have found that they make me run too fast, then I have to walk inbetween to catch my breath.

I have made a playlist of my life music, my memories in music form.

First record bought back in 1967

Songs I sung to my son as a baby

The favourite records of both my late parents and my 5 brothers.

Songs that remind me of different friend ,events etc.

I have over 100 of them, some fast ,some slow but they always take my mind off my heavy breathing, aching legs. And using it at my parkrun this week

got me a PB .

Nice idea! I too run to a selection of older tunes , just because I can, and a range of other favourites. At the moment i just run, i dont worry too much about pace etc😀🏃🏻‍♀️

Of course it did! ☺ My music tracks crop up regularly to save me from all sorts of troubles 😃

Rihanna, Britney, Shakira, Pink, Beyonce all pick me up and keep me going up tough hills. None of these were my choices though but I find they do the job admirably. they are all,on the Bridge to 10k podcast

The first record I bought was Felice Taylor, Love Comin on 😊 I still have it 😃

The song I sung to my baby son was Blu Eyes, Elton John. ,Don't run to that one though as it's a bit slow

What a great idea. I was thinking I need to do myself a playlist of tunes that work well for me
